Why are there so many people in here giving bad advice?

It depends on the system: It doesn't matter, what you write as an answer, you get points!!In my opinion it must be possible to rate answers as ';not helpful';,';nonsense'; or ';bulls******'; and such a answer get no points!
Since they may b saying...';..take my advice, I don't use it nywys...';
Well if you ask a stupid question you're going to get a stupid answer.
They do it because they can, there are no real rules here.
Well ur sure annoyed over someone but u cant go on shooting up people.
Seriously. You should have seen this one answer on a thread about going to law school. First the person kept adding -ly to words and making them nonwords, like ';firstly,'; ';secondly,'; etc. Then she recommend that the asker waste his time and money on a review course for the LSAT when independent study after study have shown that such course have no impact on a person's score. She also recommended that the asker major in English in college, which would have been of little use to the asker in law school. The answerer also claimed that an internship at a law firm would be valuable to gaining admission to law school, when, in truth, it is no more valuable than any other type of work, and maybe even a little less so. To top it all of she referred to the degree as a ';juris doctorate'; as opposed to the correct ';juris doctor.';





Some people don't have a clue.
Some people have nothing better to do, some want to help and mean well, others think that they know Everything, those that think they are funny and those that just want there 2 points. Unfortunately, you will find these people everywhere you go. I personally get a kick out of reading these questions and answers just to see what on earth goes on in some peoples heads. I guess this is why you get to choose who you think posted the best answer. Don't be too bothered by this, there are those folks out there that are serious and do really want to offer you good advice. Just try and have fun with it and hope that at least one person that answers your question knows what the hell they are talking about! It's just like everything else in life, some people will rather not have to work and just take the 2 points and then theres those that would rather work a little harder and go for the gold and get the 10 points.

Because there are a lot of very adolescents that think it is cute. There are also lots of just plain stupid questions that get posted, and some that are just wrong.
