Your choice. If you can move with her, and she's that good of a friend worth keeping, then yes, because distance usually breaks up friendships.
If not, then you can talk to her online or do whatever you want in the virtual world, but most of the time the friendship drifts apart if it goes this way.
But then there are friends who leave each other for 5 years, never talk, reunites, and become best friends.
Nobodoy knows the definite answer. The choice is yours!!!
