Weight loss advice people please?

Over the summer i've cut down on my food intake and i've been exercising almost every day and i've lost just over 1 stone. I'm going back to uni in 3 weeks and I really wanted to loose up to another stone before I went back!





Does anyone know any extra things I can be doing e.g. i've heard that if you drink 10 glasses of iced cold water a day it's meant to burn 300 calories!

no way will you lose a stone in 3 weeks. even if you starved yourself completely (don't) you won't be able to do this. just keep doing what you're doing now and continue to eat healthy and you'll get the weight off and keep it off.
Replace all drinks with Green tea and water. This has helped me lose weight.
yes drinking ice cold water helps because your body needs to use energy to turn this water to body temperature. not only will water do this, it also flushes your body out completely, and it makes you feel more full as it is filling up your stomach, so keep drinking! plenty of sleep every night helps too. another great thing about sleep along with all its other benefits is it stabalizes appetite so you are less likely to binge. i dont know how many calories you consume but try and cut down the calories by another 100. go for a brisk walk in the morning for half an hour before you have eaten. this is effective because you have no food in your stomach as you havent all since yesterday so your body uses energy for the walk from your fat stores. just keep eating healthily and exercising and you will look great! by the way, a stone is a lot of weight to lose in 3 weeks and isnt that healthy. you might be able to do it but i would recommend losing maybe just 7 or 8 pounds. that will be still good! good luck. xx
First all losing a stone in 3 weeks is not a healthy way of weight loss.


The recommended weight loss is 1-2lbs a week.


I do slimming world and this is proven to be a fantastic diet, some people in my group lose between 1-6lbs a week (obviously larger losses are from those who have more weight to lose)





Cut out any fizzy drinks and swap tea and coffee with milk/sugar for green tea or peppermint tea, this is great for your metabolism and will help speed up weight loss.





Snack on fruits and vegetables too throughout the day and drink plenty of water. This will help with all the exercise you are doing.
