i'm guessing that you are shy. well,so am i. but this is one of the things that i've learn to do. when someone is talking to you, listen carefully. and when the time is right or it's your turn to say something, start asking a lot of questions, that way you can keep the conversation going but really don't need to say a lot, the other person would be the one doing most of the talking.I get really nervous when talking in front of people, and even just when talking to one person. Any advice?
I HAD the same problem but when you practice in front of people it helps start smaller and grow in size. my helper was all my friends (in orchestra class) helped me get through my fear of talking publicly, by playing my violin infront of people, but now i have a fear of playing in front of people, but am able to slowly move through it.
How old are you? Probably pretty young. Just keep making yourself be around others and they probably either keel similar at times or don't even notice, you just think they do. You may have some sort of anxiety disorder but it sounds like good ole' fashioned ';growing up.'; I felt similar when a teen and didn't tell anyone. Then grew out of my shell slowly but surely. Good luck and just know that EVERYONE FEELS nervous at times when alone with certain people or in different situations. IT'S NOT JUST YOU!!!! We just don't talk about stuff like that AND ESPECIALLY NOT GUYS!!! Lots of luck- Alli
stop worrying what other people think of u. i used to do the same thing that ur doing now, but i realized that its not about what they think its about how u feel
Push through it. And the more you do it, the easier it'll become.

i have the same problem.. i find it easier to talk to people when i'm not looking at them in the eyes... just stare past their shoulder when your talking to some one
i think u have a confidence problem. work on yo self esteem a lil bit. or u could have an anxiety disoder. where u make things more stessed than what they rly r
