Should people actually take the legal advice they receive from this cite?

Especially in criminal matters. I guess they were stupid enough to do what they did in the first place, so why not take legal advice from a total stranger?Should people actually take the legal advice they receive from this cite?

Just like if someone should ask how to perform brain surgery and then actually go and do it on someone.
You might get some info about what others experienced, good questions to ask a lawyer, and good references, but the only people a person should get legal advice is from a lawyer. Not everyone who needs a criminal lawyer is guilty! There really is such a thing as being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But, ya, it really is stupid to do something that would require a criminal attorney. What a waste of time and money.
Nope. They shouldn't. If you are in need of legal advice..geez..this is a tough one..You'll need to consult with a lawyer for whom you have some respect. Often you can have an intitial meeting for very little money. Go prepared...have all your concerns written down..take notes. That's the best I can do advice wise.
If the advice is ';get a lawyer,'; yes, they should.
Its actually not that much different than the advice you get if you were paying an attorney, some is good and some as stupid as the second answer to this question.
If you spell the word site- c-i-t-e then you def need to take the advice here. Cant do any worse than your own

I wouldn't take too seriously anything on a forum like this if you are in trouble. It may be a guideline but that's about all. You should get an attorney.
